To protect the fundamental rights and interests of Ndi Igbo wherever they chose to live.

Igbo League will seek to fulfill her mission by employing the following strategies:

• Monitoring Igbo communities to detect early signs of human rights abuses.
• Sensitizing law enforcement agencies to potential sources of conflict in order to prevent incidents of human rights abuses before they occur.
• Research and investigate all reported cases of human rights abuse involving Ndiigbo.
• Collect and collate data on human rights abuses perpetuated against Ndi Igbo.
• Disseminate all documented cases of abuse to the world community, through available news channels.
• Network with other human rights groups in every community the Igbo league is active.
• Work with other organizations to bring the perpetrators of human rights abuses to justice.
